After opening back in November 2007, it’s thought that ten million people visit the centre each year which has contributed to a 7% growth in turnover in the last two years. Currently, the list of tenants extends to Sports Direct, Tesco, Starbucks, McDonald’s, KFC, New Yorker, IMAX Cinema City, Pull & Bear, Zara, and more.
Recently, a representative from NEPI Rockcastle said “We are excited to announce our entry into Hungary with the acquisition of a dominant and prestigious retail centre. In the care of NEPI Rockcastle, the largest retail centre owner in the CEE, we believe that Arena Plaza will continue its growth and maintain its position as the premier retail destination in the city of Budapest. Asset management initiatives will focus on enhancing the leisure and entertainment offering and ensuring that Arena Plaza has the most appealing and differentiated tenant offering in the city.”
