Poland will stay active with new fitness gym chain

The CityFit fitness club opened their first gym in Poland in May. The inaugural club is located in the Plaza Rzeszów shopping center. Later this year, two more gyms will be following with their opening ceremonies in Warsaw and Wałbrzych. The company has invested a total of PLN 100 million in the Polish market. The CityFit brand was born in Poland but was founded by the British private equity fund. The first club in Plaza Rzeszów boasts 1,500 sq m of modern facilities. Further expansion of the company is planned, with gyms scheduled to open in Warsaw and Wałbrzych later this year, followed by clubs in Poznań, Wrocław, Łódź, Kraków and Gdańsk.CityFit fitness centers will boast lower prices than other Polish membership clubs. They will also be open 24/7, an offering that has been popular at other clubs around the world. Modern equipment in an innovative facility will be a key part of the club’s draw, along with flexible membership plans that don’t require long-term commitments.“We believe that Polish customers deserve the best standards when it comes to the fitness industry,” said Nicholas Moses, managing director of CityFit. The company will focus only on the fitness sector, allowing them to keep their costs minimal and pass those savings onto customers. You won’t find a swimming pool or a wellness center at a CityFit gym but you will find great value. CityFit aims to be the first fitness club in Poland that offers a combination of low fees, no long-term contracts and a well-equipped facility.
