Unmittelbar nach der Bekanntgabe der mehrheitlichen Übernahme von Euretco durch das deutsche Unternehmen EK-Servicegroup, hat die niederländische Einkaufsorganisation die Zahlen für 2014 veröffentlicht. In der Pressemitteilung hat sich das Einkaufsvolumen der Sport Sparte um 5% auf 169 Mio. € verbessert. Euretco Sport umfasst die Marken Intersport, Runners und Coach / The Athlete’s Foot.
Die Gruppe, welche zusätzlich Einzelhändler für Mode und Wohnen anbietet, sah einen Kauf Volumenrückgang auf 904 Millionen € von 922 Millionen €, welcher vor allem die Folge der Abnahme des Wohn-Sektors gewesen ist. Doch das Konzernergebnis vor Einmaleffekten stieg um 47% auf 8,4 Millionen €. Der Reingewinn hat sich von 1,3 Millionen € auf 2,8 Millionen €mehr als verdoppelt.
