Es war eine gute Nachricht für die Privatbrauerei Moritz Fiege, einer deutsche Brauerei, diese Woche als das Team des Vfl Bochum aus der 2. Bundesliga die Erweiterung des "Premier Partner"-Vertrags ankündigte. Der Produzent des Moritz Fiege Pils wird das Team für fünf weitere Saisons bis 2021 sponsern, welches, wenn es abgeschlossen ist, den zwanzigsten Jahrestag der Partnerschaft bedeuten würde, das damals im Jahr 2001 begonnen hat.
