Nachdem der Vertrag mit Beko am Ende der letzten Saison zu einem Ende gekommen war, gab es eine große Diskussion darüber, wer der neue Sponsor der deutschen Basketball-Bundesliga (BBL) werden wird. Es ist jedoch jetzt bekannt geworden, dass easyCredit nach Unterzeichnung einer Vereinbarung diese Rolle übernehmen wird. Teambank AG Nürnberg wird zusammen mit easyCredit die Saison auch sponsern, nachdem sie Beko nach einer siebenjährigen Zeitspanne ersetzt haben.
