Zwischen dem 25. und 27. Mai ist die Champions-League im Wasser-Polo für Herren ein häufiges Ereignis im Umfeld des Wasser-Polo, aber es war dieses Mal etwas Besonderes, da sie im neuesten Wassersportzentrum Europas - der Donau-Arena - stattfand. Die Arena ist nicht nur pünktlich fertig gestellt worden, sie lag tatsächlich auch unter Budget und es ist vorgesehen, dass in diesem Sommer dort die FINA-Weltmeisterschaften veranstaltet werden.
