Nach dem Rücktritt des Geschäftsführers (CEO) Kim Roether im Juni hat Intersport Deutschland einen Nachfolger gefunden. Alexander v. Preen wird der neue CEO sein. Der Vorstand wird ebenfalls umstrukturiert.

Der Aufsichtsrat der Einzelhandelsvereinigung hat Alexander v. Preen mit Wirkung zum 1. November 2018 zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden ernannt. Darüber hinaus wird der neue Geschäftsbereich "Cooperation Partners" eingeführt, der von Frank Geisler geleitet wird
