Germany has been chosen as the host country for the 2027 edition of the prestigious men's Ice Hockey World Championship. The decision was made during the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)'s annual congress in Tampere, Finland, where Germany emerged victorious over Kazakhstan, securing the rights to host the tournament. This announcement comes as Finland and Latvia are currently co-hosting the 2023 championship in a joint effort between Riga and Tampere.
