Russian athletes winning a winter Olympic "gold" in Sochi will receive four million rubles each

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev authorized a decree determining the remuneration for Russian athletes on the basis of performances at the Games in Sochi.

So, for the gold medal has 4 million rubles., For the silver - 2.5 million rubles., For the bronze - 1.7 million rubles. 

Earlier sports minister Vitaly Mutko reported that the Russian Olympic team expects to receive 225 licenses to participate in the Olympics.
