E-Bikes Growing in Popularity in Czech Republic

Recent reports appear to show a growing fondness for e-bikes among Czech consumers. According to one of the largest sellers, Ekolo.cz, sales have grown by one-third as com-pared to last year, with both consumers and providers citing the coronavirus outbreak as the main reason for the surge. In a lot of cases, people are vacationing at home and using bicycles as their main means of transport. Moreover, the shutdown of shops and public transport has contributed to the need for safe, reliable travel.According to 4EVER, a major Czech e-bike seller, customers are currently willing to spend a surprising percentage of their income on electric bikes, on average, of CZK 50,000. Though some models are already sold out, plenty more remain in stock for the upcoming season.
