Portugal’s RTE Bikes Polish plant on schedule

RTE’s new factory being built in Machnacz Poland is on schedule to be completed in in January 2022, its expected the new plant will employ 70 staff. With its manufacturing in proximity to the Central European (CE) growing market, it will offer rim production, paintwork as well as wheel and complete bike assembly for Europe leading sporting goods giant Decathlon’s retail outlets in CE. While RTE is said to be the biggest bicycle manufacturer and assembler in Europe, Decathlon is said to be Europe’s the number one bicycle seller (in terms of units).
