Joint Venture for e-bike production in Bulgaria

PIERER Mobility has agreed to a joint venture with Maxcom Ltd to start manufacturing ebikes in Bulgaria. Both companies will share 50% with a total of investment of EUR 40 million. The factory will be built on a total area of 130,000 square metres with the site expected to be ready in the 2nd half of 2023. Once completed the annual production capacity of the facility will be in the region of 350,000 ebikes, the site is also expected to be attractive for other international suppliers of bicycle components bikes and accessories.
