Taiwan delegation heads to Czech

A group of predominant Taiwanese business people headed to the the Czech republic, the delegation was hosted by Czechinvest. The group mainly consisted of companies in the tech and electronic component industries but there was also interest in the sporting goods and bike industry.A delegation from Taiwan is visiting the Czech Republic this week in an effort to strengthen ties between the two countries' semiconductor industries. The visit is being seen as a positive step for both sides, as the Czech Republic looks to gain access to Taiwanese know-how and best practices, while Taiwan seeks new opportunities for cooperation in light of increasing competition from China. Semiconductors are now a strategic sector for Europe as a whole, so this development could be beneficial for the whole continent.
