Kenda, foucusing on Uk, Ireland and Eastern Europe

Kenda, a leading global tyre manufacturer, is expanding its reach in the bicycle market by foucing resources on the UK, Ireland, and Eastern European markets. This strategic move involves the recruitment of two sales managers, Pim Ramselaar and Robert Mrkos, to drive growth in these areas. Their roles will be pivotal in bolstering Kenda's presence in both the Original Equipment (OE) and aftermarket sectors in the UK and Ireland, and in the OE market in Eastern Europe.
As one of the oldest and most prominent bicycle tyre producers, Kenda boasts a comprehensive network of distribution, manufacturing, and research and development facilities worldwide. The company has been particularly active in enhancing its product offerings, with its American technical center in Ohio playing a crucial role in refining its mountain bike and gravel tyre lineup.
In addition to these advancements, Kenda has introduced the Kwick Series and the Kwick Drumlin Cargo tyre, specifically designed for electric cargo bikes, marking significant strides in the micromobility sector.
Pim Ramselaar, leveraging his decade of experience in bicycle sales and brand management, is enthusiastic about introducing Kenda's tyre range to the UK bicycle market. Commenting on his new role, Ramselaar expressed his excitement about the company's prospects, citing Kenda's global rebranding, a focused European strategy, and the launch of new products across performance, leisure, and commercial categories as ideal conditions for the brand's re-emergence in the UK market.
