Poland has become a much-visited destination for many tourists with over 18 million foreign tourists paid a visit to Poland in the previous year. This statistic is more substantial than what is shown by dynamo countries like Croatia and Portugal.

A data report from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism revealed that the 18.3 million tourists who visited Poland recently, is approximately 4.5% better than last year and the other countries in the same region with Poland.
World data also revealed that the Czech Republic had about 9 million tourists, Romania had 10 million, while Croatia had 13 million in the previous year. Also, Money.pl website reported that the likes of Portugal, Switzerland, and Norway had 11 million, 9 million, and 6 million tourists respectively in 2017.

A country within the same region which can boast a better tourist figure than Poland is France with an estimated value of 82 million tourists in 2017. Nevertheless, based on improving statistics, an appealing Poland has become a cherished haven for foreign tourists.

High Infrastructural And Customer Service Standards; Keys To High Tourist Intake

The massive improvement made to Poland’s infrastructure across the nation with quality customer service delivery has been the masterstroke in enticing tourists to the country. In EwaKubaczk words, “Poland is becoming more appealing to tourists as infrastructure improves nationwide, including roads and hotels. He added, “International tourists also valued high customer service standards in the country.”

This development has also gained the attention of visitors from the well-known place of tourism such as China and the Middle-east.

Fewer Billions for Poland

Although, Poland can boast a significant figure regarding the number of tourists visiting the country, the same can’t be said about the amount of revenue being generated. This claim is visible enough when compared with what a country like Croatia, which has a lesser number of foreign visitors to Poland. Croatia earned around EUR 9 billion while Poland earned EUR 9.9 billion. While the figure can be higher in favor of Poland, the overall worth percentage is far in favor of Croatia.

The tourism income generated by Poland is far less when compared to the likes of Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland according to the World Tourism Organization.

Tourism experts conclude that Poland offers low price tourism affairs. This claim shows why Poland earns few billions.
