Athletic Fitness Bulgaria expands further

Athletic Fitness Bulgaria has enjoyed good growth in recent times and this shows no signs of stopping as they open their doors to a ninth store on home turf. The new club will be joining the five already in Sofia as well as already having one in Plovdiv, Burgas and Stara Zagora.  The newest addition uses around 1,000 square feet of space and is made up of a gym (with strength, cardio and free weight areas), sunbeds and a studio. BH and Matrix have supplied the equipment along with Panetta in a club that will cost around €20 a month (with a €25 joining fee); customers will also be able to sign up for a year at the discounted cost of €160.

Svetoslav Chankov, Director at Athletic Fitness Bulgaria, said “Our target market is the working class between the ages of 18 and 65. Our USP is that everything is included in the price, excluding personal training.” With further projects already being planned, Chankov has also stated that they will continue to focus on Bulgaria until they have a club in every major city.
