Karlovy Vary historic baths to be renovated

2016-03-17 source own

More than a century after originally opening, the Elizabeth Baths Spa Complex in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, are set for a makeover. Located in the heart of the city centre, the facility first opened in 1906 but are now looking for renovators to come and build accommodations nearby. Over 60 spa treatments, modern and traditional, are available at the site famous for its use of mineral waters.

In addition to this, the site also offers a number of other facilities including a swimming pool, sauna,  salt chamber, relax pool, and many more. As a result, many treatments can be found and carried out by the team of doctors including purifying enemas, oxygen therapy and Indian head massages. One or more of the medical doctors also specialise in plastic surgery making it an option if required.

The spa complex has long been frequently visited by those with digestive issues, neurological diseases and even metabolic disorders which add to the total of over 100,000 visitors per year. The city of Karlovy Vary are looking for companies that will not only renovate the spa’s but also build and operate the accommodation facilities which should hold up to 100 bedrooms in total. As a result, the city itself will be providing over €11 million towards the project. It seems as though they will also be keen to listen to any ideas when it comes to improvements to services as well as adding/removing any of the facilities.
