Lidl diversifies into sports apparel

Lidl has announced that they will be releasing their own brand of sports apparel and they have already made plans regarding the marketing campaigns to be involved. The new brand, Crivit Pro, will focus mainly on running and cycling and are thought to be in the premium end of the market. The products are not yet available in their many discount shops but can be found online for the time being.
Faris Al-Sultan, former German Ironman champion, will be the face of the brand with Etixx-Quickstep also working with the new Lidl brand. Tony Martin and Marcel Kittel, German cyclists, are already signed to this team and are likely to benefit from this clothing deal.
