Sporting Goods Market increases at a quick pace in Russia

Yearly, the Russian sporting goods market is increasing at a rate of 15 to 20%. What is interesting, is that the Russian market has huge potential, but the population of actively involved people in outdoor activities or sports is around 10%, while in other countries the ratio has hit the 50% mark, according to the research done by RBC.
As of now, Russia's sports shoes and apparel market are up 60%, over 58% of people stated that they purchase sportswear for casual wear but sports equipment is less than 25% of total sales.Image provided by © Evdoha | Dreamstime.com - Sportswear Store Photo
