Skechers sets up a subsidiary for Central and Eastern Europe

Skechers expects to greatly increase its CEE sales within the next three to five years by means of an improved offering of men’s, women’s and kids’ merchandise along with a doubling of its distribution base in new and existing markets which includes department stores, specialty and Skechers retail outlets.

The head office is going to be situated in Budapest, which enables it to have Hungary, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia under its control.

This organization is going to be headed by Petar Dulic, who for eighteen years, has been a Skechers' development partner in the former Yugoslavia's markets as an associate and general director of the company Office Shoes.

Under his management , Skechers will establish showrooms in each country and develop its distribution in department stores , specialized stores as well as its own retail stores .
