Media Markt Plans To Begin Offering E-Bikes

In the spring of 2016 Media Markt expects to commence with the sale of electric bikes in its retail outlets as well as online. At last week’s Eurobike exhibition representatives from the consumer electronics retail giant was having talks with prospective suppliers of electric bikes.
Media Markt’s start in e-bikes will take place as a pilot project in 6 outlets in the Netherlands. Once this pilot is productive then all Media Markt shops in the Netherlands in addition to another 14 European countries in which the retail chain is present are to sell e-bikes .Media Markt has a strong presence in Central Europe with retail outlets in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland , E-bikes will also be sold on their online shop as well.
