New Prague office for EIB

2016-03-03 source own
In an attempt to improve its presence around Europe, the European Investment Bank (EIB) has opened a new office in Prague, Czech Republic. Andrej Babis, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic, was joined by Vera Jourova, EU Commissioner, in addition to a number of representatives from the Czech business world as a small ceremony took place to mark the opening of the office.

This takes the EIBs office total to 38 after already opening offices in 19 countries that belong to the EU as well as 19 outside of the EU. Furthermore, the opening also saw a loan to Komercni Banka worth around €100 million to help SMEs and Mid-Cap companies ultimately promote youth employment.
