Nova Digi, Czech broadcaster, has won the rights to show the English Premier League from the 2017/18 season. The deal, which will last for three seasons, means that Nova Digi will be showing all Premier League football in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the duration of the contract.

Nova Digi are owned by Lama Energy Group who have a history with the Premier League with this deal extending that for a further three years. Customers will be able to view matches from England via the mobile app, which has dramatically increased in popularity in recent years, as well as an internet portal.

The good news continued for Nova Digi as they also picked up the rights for the La Liga in Spain, meaning that they now have two of the most popular and sought after leagues in Europe.
