Budapest 2024 receives new boost

Budapest has made an important step forward in their bid to win the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games by announcing Lagardere Sports as a key consultant. The main bid and technical side of things will be looked after by the sports agency through Event Knowledge services (EKS). Lagardere Sports has been placed in charge of leading a team, consisting of many advisors including M-is and PWC Hungary, that will complete the main presentations to the IOC’s Evaluation Commission and a number of other important decision makers.
With a number of bids in the hat from cities such as Rome, Paris and Los Angeles, Budapest is widely considered to be an outsider but a good, clean presentation can make all the difference ahead of the big decision in Peru next year.
