New name, new strategy for Anytime Leisure

2016-04-26 source own
Anytime Leisure, based in Scotland, has this week changed their name to ‘Origin Fitness’ as they look to expand on an international scale. The name change comes from their ‘Origin’ brand, that offers fitness products and accessories, which has seen a level of success in recent times. The ultimate aim of this transition is to reach a turnover figure of £20 million in the coming years.

Paul Bodger, Managing Director, has said “We’ve not taken the decision to rebrand lightly after building Anytime Leisure into the leading Scottish company in the sector. However, we feel it’s the right thing to do for a couple of compelling reasons. While the name Anytime Leisure has served us well over the years it no longer resonates with the people we work with, who are very focused on the fitness and performance sector. We believe Origin Fitness much better reflects our core area of expertise and opportunity.”

The company, as a whole, has undergone a number of changes in recent months including some important appointments in an attempt to raise their profile around the world. Origin Fitness has a solid base to grow from after already dealing in the French, Polish, Belgian and Swedish markets; however, they have now adopted a 24 month plan which will see the attempted expansion to wider markets including Asia, Australasia and the Middle East.
