New Four Seasons Prague resort

Four Seasons is now a huge name all around the world and their Prague division has just announced the opening of Ava Spa which uses local water and a number of Czech traditions. Additionally, visitors will receive stunning views of Prague Castle. Although the Old Town hotel has three historic buildings, this will be the first time it has played host to a spa.

For those aware of Celtic words, ‘ava’ means ‘water’ and the new resort has five different treatment rooms that all feature the Celtic word (and are all named after a local river) - Svitava, Vltava, Litava, Otava, Morava. Early on, it seems as though the Vltava will be the one that gets the most attention as it features beautiful views of Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge as well as having a double suite with a bath and rhassoul.

Furthermore, the spa also boasts a vitality pool with a waterfall, sauna, steam bath, lounge chairs, fireplace, and even massage jets coupled with hydrotherapy. As mentioned previously, the resort will use traditional Czech methods but this will be complemented by Omorovicza, Swiss Perfection, Sodashi, and other high-quality skincare brands.

Spa Manager, Claudia Santos, has said “What makes Ava Spa unique to Prague is our select line of cosmetics and signature treatments. We are especially proud of our spa rituals which include purifying baths, detoxifying massages, and age-defying facials.”

The Karlovy Vary Inspiration is just one of the signature treatments that will be used and it utilises healing bath water which aims to purify and detoxify the body. As well as this, there will also be the Signature Detox which uses a rhassoul steam bath and a Sodashi mineral body scrub. Finally, it will also include a full-body massage and contouring pink clay mask.
