2018-03-19 source own
The total sales made by Romanians who run online shops on the Amazon marketplace are reported to be over USD 50 million. And the previous year, the highest selling Romanian retailers on Amazon achieved USD 25 million sales.
In a report made by the local Media fax, according to Sergiu Nichitean, the founder of the Amazon seller.ro community  “the Amazon platform offer a simple way to start a business in the e-commerce sector due to the readily available resources, and it is the biggest retailing platform in the world.”

Nichitean also points out that while Amazon handles the pick-up, packaging, and shipping, as well as customer services for all orders, the entrepreneur can concentrate on marketing and expanding their sales channels through diversification. However, products sold on Amazon are expected to be light, with few mobile parts and sold within a price range of USD 15 to USD 70.

Individuals or firms registered in Romania or the U.S. can activate an Amazon account to start an online business.
