The Czech Republic takes the top spot as its internet sales surge in Europe

The internet sales records have been dominated by the sales made in the Czech Republic according to the data released by the research agency GFK and the Czech Confederation of Commerce and Tourism on Tuesday. This rise in internet sales has been attributed to the activities in the online markets where over 43% of the industrial, general goods and services (excluding foods) are currently being sold online, according to the study.
The Czech Republic is followed by the Netherlands which recorded internet sales as high as 35% and Slovakia with 34%. Great Britain recorded internet sales of 33%. The average internet sales reported by the European Union were put at an average of 24%.
