The Wilanów district in Warsaw became the latest location to feature the new gym and store owned and styled in the latest design for Decathlon Sports chain. The 600 sqm gym is located in the Vis à Vis shopping center.

According to the reports, Decathlon Sports has plans to make this new outlet different from the three previous outlets already existing in Warsaw. The Vis à Vis outlet will feature an outdoor sports field and a gym where customers can benefit from on-site personal trainers. They will also have access to sporting equipment and take advantage of the lounge specially designed for customers who would like to relax after a workout.

In his statement, the store leader at Decathlon Wilanów, Bartosz Żochowski declared that the goal of the company was to make it more convenient for a larger number of people to access the sports facilities. He said, “with over fifty physical outlets, and an online store in Poland, the expansion drive is focused on developing a relationship with the customers and this is why outlets are opened in new locations. The residents in Wilanów have formed an active community, and we have made a good choice in selecting this location. We would like to offer more people the chance to share their passion for sports through our new concept. At the location, the previous tenants include the Max Burgers restaurant, the Villa Nova Dental Clinic, a Hebe pharmacist, an RTV Euro AGD electronics store, a Dębowy Dym delicatessen and an Owoce i Warzywa Świata greengrocer’s Vis à Vis Warsaw has been extensively commercialised, with the involvement of companies such as the Capital Park Group and BOIG Property Consulting who have played a major role in bringing about these changes. With previous centres located in Toruń, Radom, and Łódź, this is the fourth centre to be constructed in ul. Przyczółkowa 219/223. The project is expected to occupy an area of 4,300 sqm and accommodate about 25 retail service stores. The 104 capacity car park will be open to serve all visitors and business owners. The project is expected to be completed in Q4.
