EBRD seeks better knowledge management practices through a partnership with the Korea Development Institute

2018-09-03 source own
In an agreement penned at the EBRD London Headquarters, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Korean Development Institute (KDI) have agreed to collaborate in an effort to improve the knowledge management practices aimed at promoting EBRD’s policy engagement and investments in its countries of operation (CoOs). The agreement was sealed with the creation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which signified the willingness of the two parties to share ideas regarding joint research activities and areas of common interest. The document was signed by the KDI’s Executive Director, Dr. Koh Youngsun, and Mattia Romani who is the EBRD Managing Director.

With a presence in over 38 economies located in three continents, the EBRD recently launched its initiative to improve the process of market transition through knowledge sharing. The Korea Development Institute is reputably a significant think tank at a global level. By collaborating with EBRD, it can propagate valuable experience and strategies to policymakers and a wide range of stakeholders in the private sector. This project will be funded by the Korean government.
