SPORT 2000 Celebrates "Best Year in Company History"

2019-02-25 source own
SPORT 2000, the sports retailer organization, had a great year in 2018, securing 1025 partners – a record for the organization, and also generating external sales in excess of €2bn.  2018 has been dubbed the best year in their history by the Managing Director of SPORT 2000, Andreas Rudolf.  As well as celebrating their historic achievements in 2018, the organization has plans for moving forward into 2019.

When SPORT2000 held their press conference in Munich at the first day of IPSO 2019, the snow was falling.  It may have been an omen for the future – sports retailers love the snow and the increase in ski and outdoor apparel sales it inevitably generates.

Andreas Rudolf presented the figures for 2018 and cut an optimistic figure.  He enthused about the overall health of SPORT2000 and how well positioned they were as they started the new year, looking forward to yet greater earnings in the year to come.  The growth target for sales to external partners was 3%, which was missed, the actual grown being 0.3%, however this has not damped the organization's enthusiasm for 2019.
