Based in Wroclow, Bafang Electric (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. finally opened their Polish production facility recently and Qinghua Wang, CEO and president, was in attendance. On a proud day for the company, he noted how this was important in order to improve the business’s service in Europe. If all goes to plan, they will manufacture around 600,000 units (e-bike motors) at the facility.

With two assembly lines, the factory has around 800 square meters available for offices alone. In total, the site comes in at 6,000 square meters. If the site is successful in terms of demand and reaching capacity, Bafang has suggested that this will increase to six different assembly lines. At this point, the potential for 600,000 motors (e-bike drive systems) will be achieved.

During the opening ceremony, Wang spoke to the gathered crowd and said, ‘This European, Polish facility is another step towards Bafang’s global existence.’ With this, it’s clear to see the goals of the company and they’re already making progress considering this is now their fifth location. The facility is Poland is joined by offices in Suzhou (China), the US, Germany, and the Netherlands.
