Adidas To Start Offering Winter Sports Gear

Adidas is working to offer an array of products for alpine skiing by fall 2021. While this was Adidas’ goal previously, it hadn’t come to fruition until now. This means a total winter line will be offered – from ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and more.
Adidas still has not officially commented on the report.
The popular sportswear company attempted the industry before but with limited success. Even at the height of the snowboard boom, there were a number of snowboard collections under its Adidas by Stella McCartney sublabel.
Still, the company, using its Adidas Terrex label, had tested the winter sports field but didn’t get very far with it. In the 1990s, Adidas acquired Salomen, but it was resold to Amer Sports.
No word on how skiing fits into the Adidas lineup.
