Giant bikes to start manufacturing in Hungary

Taiwan’s leading manufacturer of bikes Giant is finalizing the construction of its Central European (CE)plant in Hungary.

With this new manufacturing facilities Giant will be able to increase its production capacity whist being closer to the dynamic fast-growing bike market of Central Europe.

Construction began in 2018 with completion expected mid-June 2020. At the time of the ground breaking ceremony Giant bikes Chairperson Bonnie Tu stated “Hungary’s ideal geographical location within central Europe and its well-established transportation system will enable Giant to distribute our products to Eastern Europe as well as to mainland Europe.”
