Fitness Connected, a New European B2B Trade Expo, Announced by Ralph Scholz

Set to be held in Munich on the 18th—20th of November, 2021 and aiming to rival FIBO in scale, FitnessConnected will be a strictly B2B event. It’s primarily focused on a few key geographical locations, such as Central Europe, Scandinavia, and Southern Europe. Its goal will be the positive interconnection and networking of both private and public businesses and professionals that fall under the umbrella of physical activity-related areas and sectors. These areas and sectors include everything from sports, to healthcare, to the care industry, and to retail.
Scholz, the primary motivator behind FitnessConnected, stated: "FitnessConnected will be more than just a 'new trade fair'. It's a sales and marketing oriented ecosystem, which has set itself the task of positioning the fitness industry as healthy and socially-relevant, whist helping innovations to break through more quickly and opening up new target markets.”
Additionally, he aims for FitnessConnected to be the bridge between various areas of the fitness industry: “At the same time, FitnessConnected is an innovative platform that creates the interfaces to the sports segment, the health system, the municipal sector and the care sector and develops cross-divisional solutions."
Ralph Scholz is the chairman of the German fitness trade body German Industry Association for Fitness and Health e. V/Deutsche Industrieverband für Fitness und Gesundheit e.V. He is also the former CEO of The Mirai, McFIT’s free mega-gym.
