Czech; ROUVY indoor cycling gets investment

Pale Fire Capital investment group has invested $6 million in ROUVY the Czech company behind the indoor cycling and running software application.

Rouvy connects with smart trainers and smart bikes to offer a range of animated video routes and experiences that include drafting and a combination of animated 3D riders and objects with  2D and 360° videos. The app's highest number of users are in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France and Spain.
ROUVY users cycled over 58 million km last year, and nearly 49 million km in the first half of 2021. The target for the full 2021 is 150 million km ridden.

ROUVY has partnered with IRONMAN and Tour de Suisse and said it is negotiating with the Vuelta a Espana.
