Cargo Bike Demand Growing in Central Europe

There’s a bloom in demand for cargo bikes both traditional and electric. Germany is the largest market for e-cargo bikes with sales of 100k + in 2021. Even through demand in Poland is some what behind Germany the green shoots of potential are developing, the actual situation in Poland for e-cargo bikes is small but a developing market in Poland.The demand for cargo bikes is growing in central European countries such as Poland and Czech. Polish residents are now interested in the eco-friendly and sustainable means of transport. Several cities have seen a rise in usage of cargo bikes, with many people expressing their interest on Facebook groups such as "Cargo Bike Poland" or during annual Polish Cargo Bike Festival which is hosted by Cracow's Wrocław University Medical Centre. A city like Slupsk has even created an Eco-route to promote cycling and improve air quality for citizens with e-cargo bike use.
