Largest sauna in the world is located in Poland!

The worlds largest sauna has been built in Poland, located at Czeladź in the southern part of Poland, which is not far from Katowice. The development is called Pałac Saturna which is position in the Silesian Highlands, on the Brynica river, the total cost of was over 3.3 million euros to build this development.

The Facts

The Sauna can seat 300 people which makes it the largest Sauna in the world so it has its own entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. The Sauna area is called the Colosseum which has an area of 200 sq m and it heated by 7 furnaces with a capacity of 36 Kw each so a total of 240 Kw of heating capacity. Within the development there is also Turkish baths, Jacuzzi, Cooling pool, Infra Sauna, swimming pool.

The Roman Baths in Czeladź will host the Polish and Sauna World Championships.
