According to a survey of 1,200 people by Freeletics, most Germans in 2019 are hoping to become more active and lead a healthier lifestyle. Thanks to the fitness startup, we can see that 60% of those in the survey (all of whom were in employment) wanted to increase exercise participation and become healthier.
In terms of partaking in sport, the percentage was even higher and eight in every ten agreed. With regular sport in their lives, those in the survey suggested that their lives were more relaxed, balanced, and could even be happier. With an active and healthy lifestyle, 90% of participants believed life expectancy to increase.
