Adidas creates space wear

Adidas have moved into an unknown market and have started the production of space travel suits for all ground staff and pilots of the Virgin Galactic commercial spaceflight operations. Adidas has joined forces with Yojhi Yamamoto to launch a number of garments known collectively as Y-3.
The flame retardant fibre from Dupont, Nomex, will be the main material used with the addition of leather in the case of the boots. The boots will also include Adidas Traxion outsoles as well as Adiprene heels which specialise in absorbing shock. The suits, built to be lightweight, are also designed specifically to deal with the range of movements a pilot may make at any point during the time it is worn.
