Asics’ see's sales growth in Central Europe and Russia

Asics Europe is experiencing robust growth in the Central European markets with Poland and Russia performing partially well for the this leading brand. In 2012 Asics reported a rise of 8% in market share in Europe with sales in performance running merchandise, especially strong with growth of 40% in apparel and a 10% increase in running shoes . Tennis apparel and footwear was an additional strong growth area of the organization with double-digit growth. Additional strong sports market sectors for Asics where in volleyball, handball as well as other court sports.
