Hungary has just opened the 4th opportunity for a tender for ebikes, in the previous 3 rounds 2214 ebikes were purchased using these grants worth a total of HUF 238 million. The aim of these grants is to help reduce the cost of purchasing the electric bicycles so therefore promoting bicycle use over cars, which is not only healthier for the users but good for the environment as well.
