First ever visit to Czech Republic for a Chinese head of state

The end of March has been the date set for the first ever visit from a Chinese head of state to Prague, or indeed Czech Republic as a whole. Prague will play hosts for Xi Jinping, Chinese president, on the 28th and 29th March when he goes to visit Milos Zeman at Prague castle and at the Lany residence. Xi Jinping will attend a business forum in his first visit to the country as well as having a working breakfast with Bohuslav Sobotka, Czech Prime Minister. Business will be at the forefront of Xi Jinping’s only stop in Europe on the way to the United States however with reports of 20 agreements in the working in addition to a 45 billion crown investment from China.
