German Bike Distributor and importer Messingschlager has been taken over by consumer electronics supplier Hama which has acquired a majority share. Benno Messingschlager the former owner has stated that this is a positive step for the further development of the company.

Messingschlager as well as importing and distributing bikes, bike parts and accessories the company develops, designs and manufactures bicycle products distributing to over 2000 manufacturers & wholesalers in over 60 countries.
