The world-famous outdoor brand has opened its first store in Wielkopolska. The new store is the ninth belonging to the chain in Poland, and at the same time the second one that operates in the new concept.

Debut of the iconic brand in Poznań

Uni-Sport, the distributor of the Mammut brand in Poland, consistently invests in the development of its brick-and-mortar store chain. Now this group has been joined by a salon located in the Poznań Old Town at ul. Paderewskiego 6, which has 155 square meters of space. This one is now available to buyers.

- The Mammut brand, present on 40 markets around the world, is also dynamically developing in Poland. A new investment in the heart of Poznań, one of the most dynamically developing cities in the country, with an extremely attractive business potential and location, has been in our plans for a long time. This is a natural step to strengthen the leading position in the outdoor industry, as well as a response to the needs of customers from Wielkopolska, who from now on will have access to the highest quality products of this international brand - comments Łukasz Napierała, director of Mammut Brand Stores at Uni-Sport.

The store offers a wide selection of clothing, footwear and accessories, as well as climbing, skiing, snowboarding, avalanche rescue and work at height equipment. It is already the 9th branch of the brand in Poland, as well as the second Mammut store in the country, which operates in a new commercial concept.

The store in Poznań operates in accordance with the latest standards of the Mammut chain, is consistent with its current visual identity, as well as the spirit of the brand. Modernized interiors, with a larger area and full of non-standard solutions, bring many conveniences for customers - says a representative of Uni-Sport.

What does the new concept reflect? As in other stores adapted to this model, buyers will have a larger, more comfortable shopping space and changes in its arrangement, e.g. a clearer division of zones and activities and the display of goods in the premium standard. The decor is also noteworthy - full of modern components, and at the same time referring to the brand's Alpine traditions, including dedicated furniture.

The refreshed formula also operates an outlet in Krakow's Galeria Kazimierz, which was expanded and thoroughly remodeled at the end of 2022. Currently, showrooms in Wrocław and Sosnowiec are also undergoing a metamorphosis, which will be presented in a new shape at the end of June and July this year.

The store in Poznań is already the 9th showroom of the Swiss brand in Poland, six of which operate in shopping malls and outlets (Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Katowice, Sosnowiec, Piaseczno), and two on high streets (Katowice and Warsaw). The full range is also available in the online store. It doesn't end there.

– The last and the coming months have been a period of fruitful changes. We are opening and modernizing new facilities, we have expanded the group of Mammut team ambassadors in Poland with new sports stars, but we are also developing our e-commerce channels, investing in new warehouses and improving logistics. There are still many exciting challenges ahead of us, but more about that soon,” informs Łukasz Napierała.
