Mascotte acquired by Zenden
2016-12-09 source ownLocated in Russia, the footwear company Zenden has long-been operating at the low-end of the market but they have now diversified by acquiring the Russian section of Mascotte. With a total of 85 stores across the country, Mascotte is well-known for their brand of shoes and accessories for men and women. In total, they have 23 stores in the capital alone with another 14 in St Petersburg. Therefore, this will be added to the nearly 260 seen for Zenden across over 100 cities. According to the company itself, the retail network of Zenden will now grow by 30%.
Not so long ago, Zenden announced their brand new growth strategy and this very much falls into the plan which states a desire to reach the top of the market in terms of footwear in Russia. Furthermore, it shows that they are more than happy to invest. When we reach 2020, Zenden fully expect and see €1.4 billion as an achievable target for revenue.
