Slovenian footwear retailer, Mass Shoes, is making its entry into the Austrian market with plans to open its first three stores this autumn. This strategic expansion aims to establish a strong retail presence, with long-term goals of opening 20 to 30 locations across Austria, according to Gerald Zimmermann, former CCC manager and current head of Mass Shoes' operations in the country.

One of the first stores is slated to open in November at Klagenfurt’s City Arkaden, occupying the former H&M location. Another branch will be launching in the G3 shopping center in Gerasdorf, near Vienna. Zimmermann has also confirmed that Mass Shoes is actively in talks with several other shopping center operators to secure additional prime retail spots.

This Austrian expansion marks an important step for Mass Shoes as it broadens its reach in the European footwear market, offering a wide selection of stylish and affordable shoes to Austrian consumers.
