McFIT opens 250th studio in Regensburg

The new 250th studio opened by McFit marks a historic achievement for the most successful fitness provider in Central Europe. With over 1.7 million members, McFit acknowledges the new location as an important milestone in the company’s history. In 1997, Rainer Schaller founded the discount concept on the German fitness market with his idea “fitness hall for all.” McFit remains committed to providing an exceptional service to its members with flexible opening hours, fair prices and the right level of training diversity. McFit’s business continues to thrive as the statistics show that in Germany there are more supporters of fitness sports that the football clubs. The changes in the studio over the past 21 years have been apparent in Regensburg.

The new studio offers all the services of a standard fitness center to meet the needs of every member. It covers an area of 2240 sqm which includes two levels. In addition to an exceptionally large area suitable for holistic functional training, a massive cardio park, countless free weights, and racks, there is an exclusive area for female members which feature the latest equipment line provided by the notable manufacturer Gym 80. Furthermore, the members have access to the entire 200 sqm to have a training experience that will be worth their money. Experienced coaches from the United States handle the activities under the “McFit Live” and the virtual CYBEROBICS® program. The membership package includes the “Open Group Workouts” which is done within the studios area.
