New sponsor for Czech international

For many years, Petr Cech of Arsenal has been sponsored by Adidas but this is all about to change as he makes the switch over to rivals Puma. Based in Germany, the sports manufacturer who already sponsor the Arsenal team kit will provide Cech with boots and gloves going into the new 2016/2017 Premier League season.

The move has come as a surprise for many as he was seen wearing adidas products as recently as the summer when the European Championships were ongoing. As well as boots and gloves, Cech also has his famous headgear branded by Adidas which is also set to move over to Puma. Cech has been wearing his padded helmet for around ten years now having been on the receiving end of a horror injury against Reading back in 2006.
