Citybikes, based in Prague, are well-known for producing retro city bikes but aside from that, the company’s owners also have a vested in promoting cycling in the Czech capital. It is for this reason that they won a tender to provide officials in Brussels with electric bikes for their planned ride through the streets in Prague. Citybikes were founded exactly ten years ago and they are hoping that the planned ride will help to boost sales and get more people cycling in the 14th biggest city in Europe.
